Software fault diagnostics

Identify a software-related fault and restore correct operation.

Compatibility is checked

Before changes, the module, software version and vehicle condition are checked.

Original data matters

Where possible, the original file or configuration is preserved for later control.

Work is agreed first

Scope, limitations and risks are discussed before execution.

A fault code points in a direction but is not always the root cause. We compare diagnostics, software versions, module configuration and change history to distinguish software issues from electrical or mechanical faults.

What we can do

  • Read and analyze diagnostic trouble codes.
  • Check module identifiers, versions and configurations.
  • Recover from incorrect updates, coding or module replacement where possible.
  • Correct configuration conflicts between modules.
  • Create a backup before changes.

When to contact us

  • A fault appeared after an update, repair or module replacement.
  • A feature disappeared or operates incorrectly without an obvious mechanical cause.
  • The vehicle will not accept the correct configuration or modules are not aligned.

How the work is done

  • Record symptoms and recent work history.
  • Perform a complete diagnostic scan.
  • Identify the likely cause and check technical conditions.
  • Agree on recovery or software correction.
  • Rescan the systems and verify restored functions.

Important

If the cause is wiring, power supply, a sensor or a mechanical issue, we will say so clearly. Clearing a code without correcting the cause is not a repair.

Scope and price are confirmed only after the data is reviewed.

What to prepare before requesting

Make, model, year, engine, transmission and VIN if available.

Module and software version

If available, send module identifiers, current software version or a diagnostic log.

Task description

Tell us what happens, when it started and what work has already been done.
